Oval handmade ceramic platter made of black stoneware clay and glazed with glossy white food safe glaze. The black part with carved geometric shapes is exposed raw clay which had been fired to such high temperatures that it has become water-resistant. The platter can therefore be used to serve food or keep fruit in it even though it was predominantly made with decorative purpose in mind.
